Richard Sawdon Smith
Richard Sawdon Smith is a professor of photography and Dean of Arts and Media at Norwich University of the Arts, United Kingdom. He is a board member of bookRoom Press, on the editorial advisory panel of Journal of Photography & Culture, patron of the Norwich Film Festival and trustee of the Council for Higher Education in Art & Design. He is a previous winner of the National Portrait Gallery Photographic Portrait Award; and co-editor of Langford’s Basic Photography (1995) and The Book Is Alive! (2013). His work is published and exhibited internationally.
