Richard Scully

Richard Scully is an associate professor in modern history at the University of New England (Australia). He is the author of British Images of Germany: Admiration, Antagonism & Ambivalence, 1860–1914 (Basingstoke, 2012) and Eminent Victorian Cartoonists (London, 2018); and co-editor of Comic Empires: Imperialism in Cartoons, Caricature, and Satirical Art (Manchester, 2020), and Drawing the Line: Using Cartoons as Historical Evidence (Clayton, 2009). Richard is a life member of the Cartoon Museum (London), and associate member of the Australian Cartoonists Association.
