Roar Tromsdal
Roar Tromsdal is an associate professor of theatre arts at Nord University, Norway. He has varied experience in theatre directing and management of cultural institutions. He was the first managing director of Stiklestad National Culture Centre, he has been the head of The Norwegian Revy Academic Centre and The Norwegian Revue Festival, Deputy Head of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation’s TV Theatre (NRK Fjernsynsteatret), and Head of Culture of Nord-Trøndelag County Administration. In 2014, he wrote the book Eg skal hjelpe med mitt så langt eg kan. Profesjonell dugnad gjennom 60 år – Olsokspelet på Stiklestad (I Will Give All I Can, as Long as I Can: Professional Volunteer Work over 60 Years – The Saint Olav Festival at Stiklestad).
