Dr Robert Luzar is an artist, writer, researcher and senior lecturer in fine art at the Bath School of Art and Design. He holds a Ph.D. from Central Saint Martins. His research focuses on ‘event’ and ‘trace’ as models, which he interprets through interdisciplinary drawing, live-art and projection technology. His works are exhibited internationally, and have appeared in venues such as Palazzo Loredan Venice (IT), Torrance Art Museum (USA), CUMT Institute (CHN), DRAWinternational (FR), Katzmann Contemporary (CA) and Talbot Rice Gallery (UK); and his writings are included in books and journals such as Nancy and Visual Culture (Edinburgh 2016), (forthcoming) Differences in Identity in Global Philosophy and Religion (Bloomsbury 2020), Theatre and Performance Design (2017) and Comparative and Continental Philosophy (2019).
