Robert Mejia
Robert Mejia is an assistant professor in the Department of Communication at the State University of New York, The College at Brockport. His research interests operate at the intersections of political economy, cultural studies, media studies and game studies. He has written on the politics of mobile information and communication technologies in Rebecca A. Lind’s (ed.) Race/Gender/Class/Media 3.0: Considering Diversity Across Audiences, Content, and Producers (Pearson 2012) and the representation of disease and contagion in video games in Matthew Kapell and Andrew Elliot’s (eds) Playing with the Past: Digital Games and the Simulation of History (Continuum, forthcoming). He is a co-editor of New Times: Making Sense of Critical/Cultural Theory in a Digital Age (Peter Lang 2011).
