Robert Patrick Newcomb
Robert Patrick Newcomb (professor, Department of Spanish and Portuguese, University of California, Davis) is a specialist in comparative approaches to the literatures of the Portuguese- and Spanish-speaking worlds and in Iberian studies. He is the director of the UC Iberian Studies Consortium. His most recent book is Iberianism and Crisis: Spain and Portugal at the Turn of the Twentieth Century (University of Toronto, 2018).
