Roberto De Gaetano
Roberto De Gaetano is a Full Professor of Filmology at the University of Calabria. He is the Director of the International Doctoral School in Humanistic Studies and the M.A. in Languages of Performing Arts, Cinema and Media, as well as of the journal Fata Morgana. Quadrimestrale di cinema e visioni, and the editorial series Frontiere (Pellegrini Editore). He is also the coordinator and editor of the three volumes of Lessico del cinema italiano (Mimesis 2014–2016). His publications include Il visibile cinematografico (Bulzoni 2002), Teorie del cinema in Italia (Rubettino 2005), L’immagine contemporanea. Cinema e mondo presente (Marsilio 2010), La potenza delle immagini. Il cinema, la forma e le forze (ETS 2012) and Nanni Moretti. Lo smarrimento del presente (Pellegrini 2015). He has also co-edited with B. Roberti Mario Martone: la scena e lo schermo (Donzelli 2013) and Toni Servillo. Oltre l’attore (Donzelli 2015).
