Robyn Muir
Robyn Muir is a lecturer in media and communication at the University of Surrey. She has researched and published on the Disney Princess Phenomenon, including researching complex phenomena through facet methodology, and the images of femininity in The Disney Princess Phenomenon: A Feminist Analysis (Bristol University Press, 2023). She has edited two collections on popular culture, which included work on The Walt Disney Company. She is currently focusing on audience and consumer meaning-making of the Disney Princess Phenomenon. She is the founder and director of the Disney, Culture and Society Research Network and the editor of the International Journal of Disney Studies.
