Rodrigo Peixoto

Rodrigo Peixoto is the head of the photography BA at Lusófona University (ULHT). He holds a master’s degree in visual arts, having finished the complete training course in photography at Ar.Co from 1995 to 2000, and the Gulbenkian photography course at the PGCCA in 2004. He was a Luso-American Development Foundation (FLAD) scholarship holder at the School of Visual Arts in 2000 and Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) scholarship holder during the study of his Ph.D. in communication from 2015 to 2017, having developed artistic activity in the field of photographic expression since 1999 and professional activity in photography since 2001. He has been a researcher at CICANT since 2015, with a main focus on photography and its links to communication sciences and visual arts. He participated in the projects ‘Stereo Visual Culture’ (PTDC/IVC-COM/5223/2012), ReThink (H2020 UE 812576) and European Stereo Masters: Carlos Relvas (UID/CCI/04667/2016). He is currently working on the CONGO-VR project (Film.EU RIT).
