Roger Luckhurst is the Geoffrey Tillotson Chair of Nineteenth Century Studies at Birkbeck, University of London, and author of several books, including The Trauma Question (Routledge, 2008), The Mummy’s Curse (Oxford University Press, 2011), Zombies: A Cultural History (Reaktion Books, 2015), Corridors: Passages of Modernity (Reaktion Books, 2019), Gothic: An Illustrated History (Thames & Hudson, 2021) and Graveyards: A History of Living with the Dead (Thames & Hudson, 2025).
