Rolf Laven
Rolf Laven, MMag. Dr, is a visual artist, researcher and professor at University College of Teacher Education, University of Applied Arts and Academy of Fine Arts Vienna/Austria. He studied sculpture and art/design education at Art Academies in Maastricht, the Netherlands, and Vienna (graduating 1994 and 1998, doctorate of philosophy 2004). Research projects include CEFR_Visual Literacy, Soundwords_Graphic Storytelling, RURASL, SLUSIK and SLIDE. Laven is federal chairman of BÖKWE (Austrian’s Art Educator’s Associations) and member of InSEA, EASLHE, ÖGFD and ÖFEB.
