Ruhail Andrabi
Ruhail Andrabi is currently a doctorate student at the University of California San Diego in the ethnic studies department. His dissertation examines the social and political life of people under the panoply of military occupation, while his broader focus remains on understanding sovereignty, Islam and affective geography in South Asia. He was previously working as a research assistant with Coventry University and was a junior research fellow at Jamia Millia Islamia. Currently, he is associated with the Henry Luce Foundation working on the project Muslims in India. His writings have appeared in Caravan; Norragg; Space and Polity; Theory, Culture & Society; Inverse Journal; Frontier Post and HarperCollins India.
