Ruth Currie
Ruth Currie is a Ph.D. researcher at The International Centre for Community Music, York St John University, United Kingdom. Her research explores the role and responsibility of being a community music organization as a way to understand the fields of power that community music activity operates within. She has taught as a secondary school music teacher in England, and as a workshop facilitator across the United Kingdom. Ruth is now an arts manager with a particular interest in evaluation and currently works in Scotland.
