Samaneh Moafi

Samaneh Moafi is a researcher and practitioner of architecture. She obtained her Ph.D. from The Architectural Association (AA) School of Architecture in London. Her thesis examined struggle and resistance within the space of the home with a particular focus on the intersection of gender and class in Iran. She has previously taught at the Bartlett School of Architecture, Royal College of Arts, the AA, and the University of Technology Sydney. Currently, Moafi is a senior researcher at Forensic Architecture, Goldsmiths, University of London, overseeing the Centre for Contemporary Nature and developing new investigative techniques for environmental violence.
