Samantha Lay
Samantha Lay is a post-doctoral research fellow at the Research Institute for Media Arts and Design, University of Bedfordshire. Her current research project at RIMAD centres on films fans in cyberspace and explores the institutionalisation, commercialisation and standardisation of the internet. She has also recently completed a research paper on audience responses to game-to-film adaptations. She has a long-standing interest in British social realism and is the author of British Social Realism: from Documentary to Brit Grit, (2002), London: Wallflower Press.
