Sami Chatti

Sami Chatti is an assistant professor of linguistics at King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia, and a certified translator in English, French and Arabic. He holds a doctorate and a Master’s degree in English linguistics from the University of Sorbonne Nouvelle, and obtained a second Master’s degree in translation from the ESIT school of interpreting and translation. His research interests include cognitive semantics, corpus linguistics and translation studies. He has recently published a book on the Semantics of Periphrastic Causation (Paf 2012), and contributed several articles to specialized journals in linguistics.
