Sara K. Day

Sara K. Day is an assistant professor of English at Truman State University, author of Reading Like a Girl: Narrative Intimacy in Contemporary American Young Adult Fiction (University Press of Mississippi, 2013), and editor of the Children’s Literature Association Quarterly. In addition to literature and media for adolescents, her research interests include narrative theory, gender and fandom studies. Her current projects include an investigation of twenty-first-century gender-swapped Sherlock Holmeses in young adult literature.
