Sarah Artt
Sarah Artt is lecturer in Film and Media in the Department of Social Sciences, Media and Communication at Queen Margaret University. Her Ph.D. thesis dealt with the symbolic function of art and dress in screen adaptations of the work of Henry James and Edith Wharton and migrant/diasporic cinema directors: Fatih Akin, Mira Nair Dance in cinema. Her publications include: 'Rocky Horror Picture Show as self-reflexive musical' in Jeffrey Weinstock (ed.) Reading Rocky Horror (forthcoming from Palgrave in 2008) and Art of the Past: Adapting Henry James's The Golden Bowl.
