Sarah Harper
Sarah Harper is an artist, a museum educator and an emerging researcher. She recently graduated from The University of North Texas with a MA in art education and a graduate certificate in art museum education. As a historically costumed museum educator, her work focuses on informal learning environments, promoting interest-based education to build a lifelong love of learning, and immersive sensory engagement with the cultural contexts of the past to better translate artworks with the public. Her arts-based programming with living history museums earned her the 2021 Collin County Historical Educator of the Year award.
