Sarah Stewart
Dr Sarah Stewart holds a BA Hons and MA in comparative literature from Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland. She completed a Ph.D. in English literature at the University of Edinburgh in 2020, researching theatrical representations of borders and people navigating the UK and Australian asylum systems. Following doctoral study, she continues to be active in independent decolonial research and refugee integration and has taught and organized a course in community arts at the University of Edinburgh. She currently manages a small Scottish charity that coordinates grassroots support for resettled refugees and people in the asylum system.
