Sarah Trott
Sarah Trott is a lecturer in American studies and history at York St John University, York, England. Her interdisciplinary research is grounded in the field of American studies and lies at the intersection of culture, history, politics and social memory. She is the author of War Noir: Raymond Chandler and the Hard-Boiled Detective as Veteran in American Fiction (University Press of Mississippi, 2016) and has published many articles and chapters on American crime fiction and war trauma. She also regularly contributes blog posts for the US crime fiction magazine, The Strand.
