Sasha Mackay
Dr Sasha Mackay is a research fellow in the School of Education and the Arts at Central Queensland University, Australia, affiliated with the Centre for Research in Equity and Advancement of Teaching and Education (CREATE). She has been a creative practitioner and researcher working in and with rural and regional communities for over ten years, and her research explores the practices and impacts of co-created and participatory arts projects for underserved cohorts. Sasha has been involved in national projects investigating the social impacts of arts and cultural engagement, and she is co-author of the book The Social Impact of Creative Arts in Australian Communities (Springer, 2021).
