Sherril Dodds
Sherril Dodds is a professor of dance at Temple University. Her books include Dance on Screen (Palgrave, 2001), Dancing on the Canon (Palgrave, 2011), Bodies of Sound (co-edited with Susan C. Cook, Routledge, 2014), The Oxford Handbook of Dance and Competition (Oxford University Press, 2019), The Bloomsbury Companion to Dance Studies (Bloomsbury Methuen, 2019) and Facial Choreographies: Performing the Face in Popular Dance (Oxford University Press, 2023). She gratefully participates as a breaker in the Philadelphia breaking scene.
