Shoshana-Rose Marzel
Dr Shoshana-Rose Marzel is a lecturer in the Department of Literature, Art and Music at Zefat Academic College, in Safed, and at Bezalel, Art & Design Academy, Jerusalem, Israel. She specializes in fashion studies (theory and history) and nineteenth-century French novels. Her book on fashion in nineteenth-century French novels, L’Esprit du chiffon, le vëtement dans le roman français du XIXème siècle, was published by Peter Lang in 2005. Her co-edited book Dress and Ideology: Fashioning Identity from Antiquity to the Present was published by Bloomsbury Academic in 2015. Shoshana-Rose publishes extensively in the academic press.
