Shuzhen Huang
Shuzhen Huang is an assistant professor in the Department of Communication Studies at the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. Her research is situated at the intersection of gender and sexuality studies, critical intercultural communication and transnational feminism. Oriented around culture and resistance, her research explores the complexity of subjectivities and theorizes alternative cultural practices with the aim of generating opportunities to extend and rethink dominant frameworks of knowledge. Her work therefore aims to bring critical intercultural communication, queer of colour critique and feminism of colour to the forefront of communication studies.
