Silvia Angeli

Dr Silvia Angeli is a visiting lecturer at the University of Westminster. Her research focuses on the relationship between religion and film, Italian cinema, and film-philosophy. She has published peer-reviewed articles on the work of European and North American filmmakers, including Kenneth Lonergan, Sarah Polley, Marco Bellocchio and Alice Rohrwacher. She is currently exploring the portrayal of mourning and grief in film by means of Jacques Derrida’s notion of ‘hauntology’.
