Simon Lovat
Dr Simon Lovat is a freelance academic writer and theatre-maker. He has published across genres, including journal articles on writing, film and theatre. He has published three novels, several plays and numerous short stories. He gained a Ph.D. from the University of Sussex, where he taught film studies. He now writes and performs for Yama Theatre Productions, specializing in ‘fictional-autobiography’. Research interests include autobiographical writings, film studies, film philosophy, theatre and ontology.
