Simone Ruess
Simone Rueß explores in her artistic research urban structures (Movement Space), living and home-making (INhabit) and biographical narratives (Space/Biography) in drawings, objects, installations and collective workshops. After her studies at Akademy of Fine Arts, Stuttgart (2002–08), she was supported by numerous grants, e.g. DAAD, Warsaw (2008–09), Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris (2013), Akademie Schloss Solitude, Stuttgart (2016–17) and currently by Stiftung Kunstfonds Bonn (2023). Since 2018 she is teaching, e.g. at the Goethe-University in Frankfurt a. M., Bergische Universität in Wuppertal.
