Sipei Lu

Sipei Lu is a researcher and translator. She has a Ph.D. in Museum Studies and is interested in the places where lives and art intersect. She is now exploring various forms of co-creating at the Orleans House Gallery in London with gallery practitioners, artists, and various communities. Her writing has recently appeared in The Future of Museum and Gallery Design: Purpose, Process, Perception (2018) and The Carracci Institute Year Book (2017). Her practice values collaboration, recently as a guest researcher (Research in-and-through Art symposium, Guangdong Times Museum, Guangzhou, 2015) and co-curator (100 Stories of Migration exhibition, School of Museum Studies, University of Leicester and the Migration Museum Project, London, 2014). Sipei edited for the peer-reviewed journal Museological Review and she is the translator of Active Withdrawals: The Life and Death of Institutional Critique (2014).
