Sneha Roy Choudhury

Sneha Roy Choudhury is a Ph.D. scholar at the Centre for Media Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She is presently working on her Ph.D. thesis titled ‘Symbolic geographies of performance: A study of Sri Krishna Parijatha’, wherein she intends to study the implications of a decaying culture of performativity through the analysis of region-specific ritual theatrical forms. Her research interests include theatre, culture, film and media, gender and religion.
