Stacey Salazar

Stacey Salazar is the vice provost for graduate studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). A college art educator for nearly thirty years, she has received professional recognition for her teaching and research, including the National Art Education Association’s Manuel Barkan Memorial Award for research. Stacey’s single-authored book from Teachers College Press, A Guide to Teaching Art at the College Level (2021) has been adopted as a primary text for graduate seminars and faculty workshops across the United States. Stacey is co-editor for Art, Design & Communication in Higher Education.
