Stacey Salazar
Stacey Salazar is the vice provost for graduate studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). A college art educator for nearly 30 years, she has received professional recognition for her teaching and research, including the National Art Education Association’s Manuel Barkan Memorial Award. Her single-authored book from Teachers College Press, A Guide to Teaching Art at the College Level (2021) has been adopted as a primary text for graduate seminars and faculty workshops across the United States. She is a co-editor for Art, Design & Communication in Higher Education.
