Stefano Cavalli
Stefano Cavalli, Ph.D. in sociology (University of Geneva), is professor at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) and the head of the Centre of Competence on Ageing. He is also a faculty member of the Swiss School of Public Health (SSPH+) and member of the Research Group ‘Culture, Cognition and Emotions’ of the University of Basque Country (Spain). His main areas of interest are life course and ageing, with particular focus on transitions and changes, vulnerability and social exclusion, collective memory, centenarians and end-of-life decisions.
