SunMin May Hwang

SunMin May Hwang, a Ph.D. student in the human factors and ergonomics programme at the University of Minnesota is currently researching consumer perception of food aesthetics as part of an effort to mitigate the food waste problem. She received her Master of Architecture from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Interior Design and Housing from Yonsei University, South Korea. Her educational and professional work experiences in Seoul, Boston and New York span a wide range of scales from products and interactions to architectural projects.
