Susan Wharton Conkling
Susan Wharton Conkling served as professor of music education at Boston University where she taught courses in choral music education and research and advised doctoral dissertations. During her time at Boston University, her own research interests took her beyond public school music to the ways in which non-profits enhance the artistic life of communities, not only for children, but for their extended families.
