Susana Pendzik

Susana Pendzik, Ph.D., RDT, associate professor and former head of the drama therapy graduate programme at Tel-Hai Academic College (Israel), also lectures at the Theatre Studies Department of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the Swiss Dramatherapy Institute and the dramatherapy diploma at the University of Cuyo (Mendoza, Argentina), as well as in other institutions of higher education in Europe, Latin America, United States and China. Susana has developed the 6-Key Model – a method of intervention and assessment in dramatherapy, as well as the dramatic resonances approach. A published poetess, theatre director and researcher, she is a prolific writer, authoring many texts in the field, including the book Gruppenarbeit mit mißhandelten Frauen (AG Spak, 1999) (Spanish and German), co-editor of Assessment in Drama Therapy (Charles C. Thomas, 2012) and The Self in Performance: Autobiographical, Self-Revelatory, and Autoethnographic Forms of Therapeutic Theatre (Palgrave McMillan, 2016). She co-authored Dramaterapia: Un enfoque creativo para el trabajo terapéutico (Sintesis, 2018). Susana is a senior supervisor and has a private practice.
