Sweta Rajan Sharma
Sweta comes with approximately 23 years of experience; she spent eight years in the fashion industry and has been an educator since fourteen years. She works as an associate professor with the Department of Fashion Design, NIFT, Patna. She has co-authored a book chapter ‘Harmful environmental effects for textile chemical dyeing practice’ published by Elsevier. She specializes in design-based subjects and has conducted design trainings for craftswomen. She is currently researching Indian handicrafts and how they are instrumental in empowering rural women. She has written several research articles on design and crafts and participated in design conferences.
