Sylvie Blum-Reid
Blum-Reid is the author of Traveling in French Cinema (London: Palgrave MacMillan 2016), and East-West Encounters. Franco-Asian Cinema and Literature (London: Wallflower Press, 2003). Her articles appear in such film, literary and cultural journals as Quarterly Review of Film and Video, Portal: Journal of Multidisciplinary International Studies, Inter-Asia Cultural Studies, Iris, and Sites, The Journal of 20th Century Contemporary French Studies, The Journal of Durassian Studies, Simone de Beauvoir Studies, Le Maghreb Littéraire, The Contemporary Journal of French and Francophone Studies. Her research and teaching interests include literature, travel narratives, photography, and 1930s cinema and culture in France, expatriate female artists in the interwar period.
