Sylwia Szostak
Sylwia Szostak completed her Ph.D. in the University of Nottingham’s Department of Culture, Film and Media. It examines the impact of international media flows on Polish television in the post-Soviet era, with particular attention to the influence of American fiction television. Sylwia has published essays in VIEW Journal of European Television History and Culture and in the edited anthology Popular Television in Eastern Europe During and Since Socialism (Routledge 2013). She currently works in the Polish TV industry.
