Tabea Alexa Linhard is Assistant Professor of Spanish and Comparative Literature at Washington University in St. Louis. She is the author of Fearless Women in the Mexican Revolution and the Spanish Civil War (University of Missouri Press 2005). Recent publications include ‘In the Precarious Exilic Realm: Edward Said’s Andalusian Journeys’, Humanism and the Global Hybrid: Reconstellating Edward Said and Jacques Derrida (eds.
