Tanja Jurkovic
Tanja Jurkovic holds an MA in English and French literature and language. She is finishing her Ph.D. titled ‘Horror genre and Balkan cinema: The fluidity of Croatian and Serbian cinema’, at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK. She published several articles and chapters with Palgrave Macmillan, and some academic journals in her areas of interest. Apart from Balkan horror, her academic interests include Balkan cinema, horror genre and its subgenres, Grand-Guignol, comic books, transmedia storytelling, media studies, filmmaking, video games development and world cinema.
