Ted Gournelos
Ted Gournelos received his MA in Fine Arts from the University of Illinois in 2004. He founded akastatistic.org that same year to gather and showcase community activism in the arts, and has exhibited his artwork in exhibitions throughout the United States. Ted is currently a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Communications Research at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign, and has presented papers on a variety of issues in cultural studies. He is currently working on an edited collection on humour and post-9/11 politics and an edited collection on the politics of irony.
