Teresa Crew

Teresa Crew is a senior lecturer in social policy at Bangor University and is also a senior HEA fellow and a fellow at Bangor University. Her research and teaching expertise focuses on equality, diversity and inclusion. She primarily writes about social class, having recently published a book in 2020 for Palgrave Macmillan about working-class academics entitled Higher Education and Working-Class Academics: Precarity and Diversity in Academia. She is currently conducting research in relation to disability in academia. Prior to this, Teresa coordinated a Gypsy Traveller Accommodation Assessment and has published widely in this area. She has previously written about graduate outcomes in relation to class, gender and place, as well as regional employability skills. Teresa has previously worked on various EDI projects for her local council, the Welsh Assembly Government and various charities.
