Terrie Bear Hayes
Terrie Bear Hayes has earned an MFA in television and screenwriting from Stephens College, an MA in creative writing and screenwriting, and a BA in cinema art and science from Columbia College Chicago. She has taught filmmaking, screenwriting and story development in Chicago, IL, and is currently writing Triumph of the Watermelon: A Comprehensive Beginner’s Guide to Story Development for Screenwriting. Her screenplays, The Art of Invisibility, Treasured and On the Way to a Dream are family dramas that feature career-obsessed, female protagonists that interact with supernatural helpers to find surprising solutions for balancing work, family and romance.
