Thais França
Thais França is an integrated researcher at the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL), Centro de Investigação e Estudos de Sociologia (CIES-IUL), Lisboa, Portugal. She has worked on the topic of international student mobility to Portugal, and her main publications are in the field of migration, postcolonial studies and gender. Her publications include: ‘South–South student migration: Socially integrating students from Portuguese-speaking Africa at UNILAB, Brazil’ (2020); ‘Portuguese policies fostering international student mobility: A colonial legacy or a new strategy?’ (2018) (with E. Alves and B. Padilla) and Geo-estratégia de la Internacionalización y Espacialidad de las Migraciones Académicas (edited with S. D. Aupetit and B. Padilla; UDAL-México, 2019).
