Theophilos Trampoulis
Theophilos Trampoulis is publications advisor at the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Athens. He has edited numerous books and has written essays on art, literature and politics in Greece and abroad. The portfolio of the exhibition catalogues he has edited includes the Outlook International Art Exhibition; Destroy Athens, first Athens Biennale; Heaven, second Athens Biennale; Agrimiká: Why Look at Animals?; Greece’s official participation in the 56th edition of the Venice Biennale. He has also curated exhibitions, such as the exhibition Epekeina at the City of Athens Cultural Centre, The New Institutional at the Action Field Kodra, Hypnos Project at the Onassis Cultural Centre and A Comforting Idea at the Archaeological Museum of Agios Nikolaos Crete, Encore: New Greek Painting at the Athens Municipal Gallery. With Eleni Koukou, he is co-curating the public art programme ‘The Spirit of the Stairs’ in the Municipality of Agios Nikolaos, Crete (from 2018 onwards).
