Thomas F. Connolly
Thomas F. Connolly is a professor of humanities and social sciences at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University. He is the author of George Jean Nathan and the Making of Modern American Drama Criticism (Fairleigh-Dickinson University Press, 2000); Genus Envy: Nationalities, Identities, and the Performing Body of Work (Cambria Press, 2010); British Aisles: Studies in English and Irish Drama (University of Ostrava Press, 1998); Good-bye Good Ol’ USA. What America Lost in World War II: The Movies, The Home Front and Postwar Culture (Houghton-Mifflin/PMU Press) and dozens of artlices. He serves on editorial boards and has been a consultant and commentator for the BBC, New York Times, The New Yorker, CBS, PBS and NPR. A former Fulbright senior scholar, he is the recipient of the Parliamentary Medal of the Czech Republic, awarded for ‘the educational improvement of the nation’.
