Tiago Martins
Tiago Martins is a researcher, lecturer and technical artist in the field of mixed reality and embodied interaction. Born in Lisbon, Portugal in 1981, Tiago holds a degree in computer science from the New University of Lisbon and a Ph.D. in interactive art from the University of Art and Design in Linz, Austria. He has been a regular lecturer at the interface cultures MA programme in Linz for over a decade now, where he also works currently as researcher. Over the years Tiago has worked in several innovation projects for different institutions, including the Ars Electronica Futurelab in Linz, Berlin University of the Arts and the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), with outcomes exhibited at the ZKM Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe, German Museum of Technology and the Ars Electronica Festival.
