Tigere Muringa
Dr Tigere Muringa is a political communication researcher and communication professional focusing on research, teaching, knowledge management, supervision and consultancy. Thematically, his research interests and publications revolve around political communication, government communication, public relations, new and digital media communication and journalism. Dr Muringa is a research fellow at the University of Free State and director of research at M&G Research Pty Ltd in Durban, South Africa. He has previously held academic and non-academic positions at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban University of Technology and Boston Media House in South Africa. He holds a Ph.D. in media and cultural studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), Durban, South Africa.
