Tim Stafford
Dr Tim Stafford is part of the Herts Academic Skills team at University of Hertfordshire. He is also a visiting lecturer in literature, public history and film. His research interests include comic books and their film adaptations, television, visual narratives and horror films. His Ph.D. focused on the commercial and artistic elements of Marvel and DC’s superhero cinematic universes. His monograph, Teaching Visual Literacy in the Primary Classroom (2011), is published by Routledge.
