Tim Suter
Tim Suter was a BBC producer, journalist and editor for fifteen years before becoming a Specialist Advisor to the UK’s Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. In 2002, he was appointed Head of Broadcasting Policy for the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, overseeing the passage of the 2003 Communications Act through Parliament. He joined Ofcom, the newly created converged Communications regulator in 2003 as its founding Partner responsible for all aspects of content regulation and standards. In 2008, he left to establish Perspective Associates, a specialist advisory company working internationally on issues related to media policy and regulation.
